What we need

Whilst we appreciate the thought behind everything you donate, we are most grateful to receive items from our official list below. Otherwise we use valuable volunteer time in sorting alternative items, for use elsewhere, so that they are not wasted.

●  new single duvets
●  new single duvet covers
●  new single bed sheets
●  new pillows
●  new pillowslips
●  new - men's boxer style underwear (sizes S and M)
●  long johns and similar thermal vests
●  thermal or lined gloves/ fingerless gloves
●  black fleece beanies/cloth caps
●  thermal socks
●  wet wipes/personal size tissues
●  small torches - ideally windup
●  can openers

The majority of our guests will be men which is why we ask for men's underwear. We would prefer to allow female guests to choose their own underwear, toiletries and feminine hygiene products as this makes it much more personal.

Donation of Food
We provide a cooked meal each evening the shelter is opened, so donations of non-perishable items such as tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, sweets, tinned vegetables, tuna, rice and pasta are always required. Please note all food donations must be within their Use By Date

Toiletries such as toothbrushes, men's deodorant, disposable DOUBLE or TRIPLE BLADE razors, shaving foam, shower gel are also required.

Donations of cleaning products, toilet paper, hand wash and room fresheners are always appreciated.

Please deliver all donations of bedding, toiletries, winter items, money and non-perishable food to:
